Today I found a solitary split air con unit hidden away in an
inappropriate part of the store. It is boxed, but the box seems very
worn and looks to have been resealed with brown parcel tape. There
are none of the plastic things (not sure what you call them but they
are used to seal a lot of boxes, loops of plastic heat sealed
t gether which are usually so tight they damage the cardboard
packing) and I will insist that it is opened before purchase.

Can anyone who found a mint or decently packaged unit confirm whether
or not the original tape was similar to brown parcel tape before I
try to get additional discount on the item?

Hoping Keith will als reply with a little more detail on his large
discount on a unit he had already returned once :)

Thanks,

Mark.
