Hi

I've just read a few posts on HVAC so thought I would chip in a little. I run Misterhouse SW for HA and have some weeder digital and analogue boards attached on a serial port. I use some LM35 (temp to voltage & cheap) attached to the analogue i/p's for temperature monitoring. I believe they change 10mV per degree centigrade. I have two relays controlled >from

Misterhouse works out what shift SWMBO is on that day checks the temperatures and switches the heating on accordingly so that the house is warm either for her getting up in the morning or getting home from work later.

After the initial fine tuning of software it as worked fine for the past year. When I move I may change the temperature sensing to the dallas stuff but not quite decided yet.

Still on topic quick update - Builders have said the quote was for three sparkies for a full week plus some extra twin & earth to route via Node 0. They have reduced the cost to £3100. Still not happy and have requested a meeting with the electrician ! I will keep you posted.

STOP READING NOW short OT sentence follows ....  Yes Phil the "Hooters" mentioned is the same "Hooters" as in the US, same everything but minus the US accent. (but plus the cheesy sauce).
