Try the following on her:

With luck, and assuming that you are, in fact, a Jedi, she will then
realise that the new way of using the switch is far superior.

Only that SWMBO does not like the feature! - she expects a light to just

come "on" when she operates the light switch, and not to just
come on at
10%
brightness (or whatever I last had it set at the night before...) So I
need
to set a recurring event up that resets the preset dim level to 100%
every
night...
