I read a load online yesterday somewhere that this group are trying to
introduce a coating on CD's that render them unable to be copied with
one small snag...40% of the players out there won't read them. IIRC this
equates to alienating about 500 million players.

To stop MP3 distribution over the net the music companies are supposedly
trying to "swamp" the servers of the sites offering them leading
to
complaints from the ISP's and the public.

Just FYI, I would never get involved in such things ;-)
