Hi the reason I ask is the cheapest cat5 I have seen is =A367+VAT at
http://www.eclipse-computers.c=
om for 1000 (thats a thousand metres !!!) and
the cheapest cat5e is =A327+VAT at local electrical distributor for 100
metres - a factor of 2.5 more expensive
Now what I need it for is for a new build house where I will be putting
HA,=
computer network and media distribution (kat5? probably).
I know there are technologies such as cat6 etc, and even though I hope
to
overkill eg 24 point per room or something like that, will cat5 suffice
for=
the forseeable future?
Cheers
Umar
