RE: OT: 5.1ch DVD to HomeCinema

Exactly what my Sony kit has. It was advertised as 5.1 ready which means
it
can distribute the signal but not decode it. Knowing this (later I might
add
as the salesman did his usual good job) I bought a DVD player with the
decoder onboard. All has lived happily so far.
