A little bit faster to when the computer was only running HomeSeer.
Your problem with the delay could be one of either two things:

1) Computer not responding faster enough, check what else is running.

2) Computer responding too fast as Ian pointed out. A problem I had
with my HV and a TM12 was that the X10 response to an macro triggered
by an X10 command sent from a TM12 was being sent back so quickly the
TM12 thought its command had clashed and tried to send it again.  I
put in a 0.05 sec delay and it worked fine.  Try delaying the X10
response by a fraction of a second in HS and see if that improves it.

My only reason for getting a HV was that I didn't have a PC spare to
dedicate to HS and other HA applications and a new PC was as
expensive as a HV.  Easy choice really especially once I get it link
directly to Comfort.
