Just scrapped the sticky thing off the back and put some compound down
and it seems to run at 49 degrees, still a lot though!  Least I was
able
to get WinXp Pro on though.  I think its time to invest in a
decent
heatsink.

My 1.4GHz Athlon machine runs at about 54 degrees more or less all the
time.

Just brought a Abit AT7 mobo and a XP1800+ cpu, along with 512MB DDR.
For some reason my cpu temp is at 50-60 degrees C.  Windows XP wont
even
install at that temp, im using a cpu from novatech.
