Unless these wireless speakers take batteries you will still need a power
cable and if you are going to run one wire to them you might as well run 2.

Unless I've misunderstood the problem.

Folks,

This has probably been thrashed about before but are wirless speakers
(for things like voice announcements) of any real practical use? What
sort of distances can you get (through walls etc) do they use the
same 2.4 ghz band?

are they worth considering? Although I'd love to have a cabled
solution SWMBO has said a definate NO to drilling any holes in the
walls... regardless.
