RE: [OT] How to fit a digital mini dish??
I did this with my Sky system - it's not that difficult. See below,

BBC1, 2, BBC4, Choice, Knowledge, CBeebies (Kids), some regoinal versions
of
BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 :-/ , Extreme Sports, ITV 1 (incl all
regoinal
variations), quite a few news channels, loads of digital radio stations,
the
option for "pay as you go" Sky movies plus prob. loads of other
stuff I've
forgotten.

What's your location (nearest large-ish town) ? I think I've still got
a
spreadsheet which calculates the elevation and azimuth (east-west
angle)
But, as others have suggested it's easiest to look at your neighbours
dish
to get it mostly there, then use the inbuilt strength meter for final
tuning.
do I need special cable from the

Double screened coax (foil and braid), typically identified by the term
"CT100"
And in true UKHA-style, if you're going to run one cable, you might as
well
run another at the same time :-)
do I need any special tools to calibrate it,
> etc.??
You can buy a satellite strength meter, but the digibox has one built
in
which should be good enough.
