Hi All
Firstly congrats to Keith D with his Kat5 Project Progress  that should make quite a few people happy.
Well ive just built the 8 zone ir rx/repeater prototype also i zone reciever and currently testing. After  some frustrations which is normal for me anyhow ,i am now able to send a signal  from a zone reciever signal to my central reciever , then retransmit to homevision which scans the rx active mux and transmits the signal(saved in hv) to the correct zone device. At the moment im sending vol up ,vol down and mute to my dvd player. I decided to use Cat5 setup this time but need to test on long runs, hopefully will be ok.Will build more zone recievers on the weekend and test more. Had some problems with my Lg Tv as it uses that rc5 format and multiple codes need to be saved for each button press . Any advice on this most welcomed. Hopefully some more good news after the weekend.

Frank Mc
