Hi Guys
There
are 2 ways to wire your lighting circuits . Firstly loop
your feeds to all lights and drop twin actives to switches .
Secondly
loop your feeds to the switches and drop a twin +earth to the light.
tThe first option is usually used in a solid brick house as in the UK.
The
second option is used generally in brick veneer houses as here in
Aussie
Land. (brick outside stud+plasterboard inside). So iwould suspect UK
wiring
owuld generally not have neutrals at the switches.
Isnt ring mains only for power points?
