I've just taken delivery of some 2N2222 transistors from Farnell..
Everything I'd read about transistors said that on side would be
flat, and all you did was put the flat side on the table and read the
pins as CBE from left to right...

The problem is the 2N2222's are cylindrical (think of a 10uf
capacitor) So how do i identify the pins? There is a little 'sticky
out bit' on one side but thats all...
