As you are all perhaps know, I am switching from W2K server to S2K
SBS. I have a few problems for the experts....
One W2KS I ran a weather station, to monitor the station a server
package looked at a slow rs232 stream at 9600 baud, the sorted the
results in a database, updated a real time view on the server screen
and once per hour posted a update to my web site. This on my 1Ghz
server gave a load af about 20%, but this was not a problem despite
running lots of other stuff.
Now on W2KSBS the load of the same program, same revision is 99% the
result is that my mailserver does not run !
What have I missed ?
John
