Does anyone know how effective the IR emitters are on the Leopard and
Ocelot controllers?

Is the Leopart IR emitter a blaster type and if so how effective is it?

also if I need to add an emitter then will the add on ones transmit across
the room?

Before I buy one I want to know if the IR range is good or whether I need
some
additional kit to beef up the signal.
