Another one for you, which bit of the rack width is 19" ? 

Is it:
a) The width between the rails i.e. max case width,
b) The centres of the mounting holes,
c) The overall width of the rackmount item including ears,
d) Other, please state _____________________

Is there an on-line source which gives this info ?
