Similar here...BBC now much better since they changed their encoding method.
ITV Ch4 have freezing and sound hits.

Here also the signal strength does not matter too much. I run with some
attenuation.
So this is good reason for ITV etc to change to the simpler encoding.
Hopefully they will change at end of year.

Plus points.
16:9 images to fill your telly.
Cheap.

Minus points.
Breakups on ITV Ch4
Slow channel changing.
Pace box crashes often.
Philips box occasionally.
