Do you HEAR dial tone before dialling ?
(You obviously GET dial tone because you can make a call)

When the call is answered, can you hold a conversation ?

If you cant hear anything at any time on the home phone then there are a
couple of likely causes...
1. Faulty Handset code
2. Faulty Earpiece

One for Keith really.

Having some trouble with my phone line.
When I call some onone I don't hear the phone ringing at the other end.
When I phone my mobile, it rings but I can't hear the ringing tone on th
eBT line (only on the mobile!).
When I phone home from my mobile it all works normally.

Any ideas?

Michael
