As you mentioned the security risks can be worrying.

However the other major negative point is the price.

Granted the fact that if most users really paid for every single
PCAW client the price would be comparable.  However as most of us
use one copy for both the master and the various slaves the price is
outrageously multiplied with GoToMyPC.

I was a beta-tester for the product when they first started both for
their individual user version and for their corporate version.  The
technology is excellent and the inherent security risks can be
overcome.  However the price, for my specific professional needs, is
exhorbitant.

Again this is based on my specific needs, which may not be average,
and your mileage may vary.

PS:  If Symantec implements the same software activation policy in
PCAW which they are now using for NAV and NIS then the price issue
gets turned around and GoToMyPC comes out cheaper.
