I have used a U30.

Although it is VERY pocketable, perfect for SWMBO handbags etc, it does
have
some downfalls.

* No Viewfinder, so if it is dark, it's a case of point and hope
* No Zoom
* No manula settings to speak off .. basic Flash on / off, and some auto
modes, but nothing above that.
