When you go through the selling option on Autotrader it asks for your
registration and adds this information to the advert (not the reg
though) which you can't then change.

Very frustrating when trying to sell an off road car that is not
registered...

But by going through the selling a car section you get a description, I
suppose from DVLA ?

There was a similar SMS Service that ran for a while but it was
withdrawn....

How did you find out that inaccurate information ?

I cant see an option to check a number plate, I was going to check my
other Pug
309.

1992 - Correct
PEUGEOT 309 - Correct
Trio - WRONG - GLD
5dr Hatchback - Correct
Beige - WRONG - Its AZTEC GOLD acording to the log book (although Sharon
keeps
on saying its Beige). Is there such a thing as Metallic Beige ???

Tried to check the value but they dont go back that far :-(

Must be worth at least 200 quid though coz its got 360 days tax left and
a full
tank of diesel. Its the "Official UKHA Taxi" and is still going
strong
after
258000 miles. Economical too.... 54 mpg :-)
