Just one word of caution on the Via epia stuff. The C3 processors are a
little light horsepower wise. If for example you would be using any cpu
intensive stuff eg audio transcoding then you may want to consider a
beefier
cpu. On my 800Mhz epia machine which ran my SliMP3 server - when I ran
'Lame' to transcode mp3's my cpu usage was maxed at 98% and I was getting
glitches in the stream. A 2 GHz P4 runs this at 30% CPU usage and no
glitches. C3 is not supported by some software too eg Vmware - but then
the C3 is not intended for that market either.
