RE: [ukha_d] sky + £49
Jason,
When I spoke to the chap at Sky, he initially told me the same thing...
To which I replied, - suppose I cancel my multiroom subscription, (which,
a=
s I am past the 12 month contractual obligation period, I am perfectly at
l=
iberty to do...), - and then immediately re-subscribe...
He went away and had a word with his manager, and came back and accepted
th=
at I was quite correct after all, and that I *CAN* have the same offer
cond=
itions, - however, no-one at Sky had actually thought to anticipate such a
=
likelihood, and so the billing system wasn't set up to accept it.
What they've had to do is charge me =A399, - which is what their system is
=
set up to process, and then immediately refund me =A350 of that. -
"alleged=
ly" this was all done whilst I was on the phone... -- call me Mr.
cynical,=
but we shall see... - I shall be looking out for the =A350 refund to appea=
r on my statement at exactly the same time as the =A399 charge appears....
Give them another call and press your case...
