How about a software solution?

Synergy2 allows you to share the keyboard and mouse from one PC (or Mac)
with multiple clients.  You need a screen for each (which it sounds
like you already have).  Best of all it's free (GPL)

I use it at work with my lappy and desktop since I /hate/ lappy
keyboards and nipples/pads/balls - and it works pretty well (a couple of
minor niggles but I wouldn't be without it)
