These multiswitches don't use a standard quad LNB they use an LNB with
4
outputs that are each fixed;
1 = high - vertical
2 = low - vertical
3 = high - horizontal
4 = low - horizontal
With a 'normal' quad LNB each output can provide any
high/low/vertical/horizontal depending on voltage and or tone, so it's
like having 4 separate LNBs

provide multiple outlet feeds - 6, 8, 12 etc depending on the model you
buy.
So you are then only limited to the number of viewing cards that Sky
will
supply for your account.
