CCTV, Geovision ?

Hey Guys,

I've got a friend that wants to setup a CCTV system. I know there are a
lot of people here that are hot on CCTV and I'm hoping someone might be
able to help.

He is after a CCTV system that can do all the basic stuff but he also
wants to be able to run ANPR and more importantly he wants the ability
for the system to move a PTZ to a preset when a PIR detects movement.

The geovision system seems to tick most of the boxes he wants including
the ANPR, but I can't see anything in the geovision range that allows
set PTZ positions based on PIR input.

Basically a PIR detects movement and closes a contact. The CCTV system
detects this and moves the camera to a preset. The preset would have
been setup in advance to show the area the PIR covers. This seems like
a pretty easy thing to achieve especially since the Geovision system
allows recording based on IO input, but I can't see anywhere that allows
me to say that if input 1 is active then move camera 5 to preset 1 for
30 seconds.

He also needs all the standard stuff like 24/7 recording, SMS text on
events, web interface for control over broadband etc etc.

Anyone know of a way round this ? hope it all makes sense.

Cheers

Marc
