I waited for other responses before risking pin jumping....
The Asus tablet only has charging from a micro sub cable, there is no
alter=
native charger cable input.
I have got a Kindle Powerfast charger (supposedly the beefiest on the
marke=
t) and still it doesn't keep up with the rate of battery depletion. This
po=
ints me in the direction of the control being in the tablet not in the
char=
ger. If so would you expect shorting of the data pins to reveal the
presenc=
e of an undeclared higher rate charging option or do you see any risk of
da=
mage?=20
I am poised to give it a go...just seeking reassurance!
