The info is available from *; therefore, it could be exposed via xAP.

I've begun prototyping an application that runs autonomous from * (i.e.,
it's not an AGI or FAGI) and connects via the manager interface over
TCP. I am currently tracking initiated channels and their connection in
and out from "providers" (e.g., IAX, SIP, ZAP). In addition,
it's
tracking event durations--which is important for satisfying the info for
various xAP schema messages.

I've also implemented thread management so that heartbeats are
maintained separate from the continuous listener connected via the *
manager interface. What you are asking for would also require a new
thread to perform periodic actions (e.g., check mailbox "x" every
"y"
seconds--where y can be large as needed). There may be similar actions
such as "check provider x to confirm that it is still available".

I'm not yet passing this info out via xAP (just the simple heartbeats)
as there's still more prototyping and implementation to go. I expect it
will be some weeks off until I have something that could be considered
useful. The good news is that this approach is not intrusive to your
extensions as is AGI/FAGI approaches and is (hoped to be) easier to
implement.
