Hi,
xAP Jabber only sends it's presence when it connects and disconnects
from the Jabber server. It won't send presence between contacts on the
roster, but the sever might. When you say they are getting announced to
all IM clients, what exactly are you seeing? Is it a popup?
One thought, are you running Switchboard? If so what does it have in the
tosend_IM.txt file? Switchboard will run that file as contact change
status so maybe that is where the messages are coming from. If you run
Viewer and lookout for display messages you should see the source of them.
