Do you mean 'device driver' or daemon?
I've written a daemon - it's a bit flaky but does the job, and accepts
connections from multiple clients using sockets. As I found out
afterwards, several others have done similar things and put them in the
public domain. Although I haven't tried any myself, it may be worth
taking a look unless you are the kind of guy who enjoys doing this
stuff for fun! It would be great if you could share your efforts. One
day, when my code is robust, I'll put it in the public domain too.
