Like the idea of a videocam...
And (sad git that I am), I have them databased (not just album/artist
but
searchable under each track name as well), and stacked in alphabetical
order. How else you going to find what you're looking for?!
Oh, and in close on 20 years of buying CD's, I've only ever gone into a
record store twice and bought a CD I already had :o)

I've had no problem with my insurer and my ludicrously expensive hifi.
The
didn't even want to see receipts, even though some had to be named items
as
the breach the single item limit. Of course, now I've discovered this
forum
I think I'll be spending my money on ha stuff for the next year or so.
I recommend you keep a catalogue of your CDs. That's a real nightmare if
you
want to get them replaced. I've even seen suggestions that you get a
videocam and gradually walk it along the CDs so you have visual proof.
Dave
(paltry collection, not quite up to 1000, but catalogued in a database,
and
stacked, sadly, in alphabetical order).
