Couldn't you pay for a second installation of ADSL at his house, then have
this dedicated for your use over the wireless link?

Yes you can forward all the ports ver the wireless link, thhough if you mate
wants a webserver aswell you will have to fight over who gets which ports :P
Unless you opt for the two adsl lines at his place Idea I mentioned before.
