I am sure this is a common requirement for everyone but
is there a way
of stopping Outlook from automatically downloading embedded content eg
pictures from a web site whilst still preserving an html view of emails ??
I
know these embedded pictures are often used as links to show that the
email
has been received and read (or previewed).
What I would really like is a 'box' shown with an ability to right
click
and 'show pictures' or the same for a whole email - Outlook
automatically
prohibiting the loading of any content embedded in the email from a
remote
internet site. I don't know about anyone else here but the level of
rubbish
at the moment is huge and proving very difficult to filter so I am on a
lookout for all the avenues to cut it down and this is one. Is everyone
else
unwittingly ;) bombarded with all the porn too ?
If all else fails I'll have to go back to converting all
content to
text.
Kevin
