have to you tried firefox
there is an extension that deals with IE only websites for firefox

There's a debug menu you can enable in Safari, which allows you to force
safari to pretend to be various other browsers. This may be enough to
get the EMM to work in safari... (If egg is preventing the use of other
browsers, rather than it just not working correctly - if the latter,
report it to apple!)
